This project was created in reference to the 1967 experimental film The Perfect Human created by Danish Director Jorgen Leth. The original film depicts a man and a woman, both labelled 'the perfect human’. They ‘function' in a white boundless room, as though they were subjects in a zoo. Almost 50 years later artist Daniel Landau revisits the question of what is means to be human. In these 50 years modern society has experienced the dramatic shift into the information age. Humans have become information generators - tracked and monitored by algorithms determining some of the most important aspects of human life.
